Definitions, background, and uses of word is fantastic in the app. What is not great is that "notifications" are no longer an option in my phone settings, and my saved favorites doesn't recncile. For some reason the app keeps saving my favorite words under "mobile favorites" despite previously creating multiple folders (i.e., philosophy, religion, school, etc.). Get rid of these bugs and it would be a 5 star app."

I LOVE the words of the day because they actually challenge and stretch my vocabulary. However, I got a new phone (Galaxy S22) and now can't get notifications. I'm told this app doesn't send notifications. Yet every time I open the app, it wants me to change my settings to get notifications. It's just a vicious cycle! I see others have the same problem. For now, I get the emails instead. I will look into the widget."

I don't know why, but they've stopped sending notifications to my phone for the Word/Synonym of the Day. I couldn't even find the permission to send notifications in the app settings or in settings overall. The app won't even show up in settings. It's weird. Is anyone else having this problem? Edit: So it's considered a system app so I showed system apps and when I tried to turn on the notifications for the app it said it's blocked. I've never had this problem before."
