After giving up on my older simple remote I purchased a new 4k remote with voice several months ago. Worked great until about 2 weeks ago. When I try to turn the TV off using the hsndheld remote it does go off and comes right back on by itself. The mobile app won't do either and keeps losing track of the device. Sometimes it finds it. Sometimes it doesn't. I've got a brand new 55" Roku TV still in the box. I'm afraid to go near it!"

Remote works well. A recent update fixed the distortion issue, but the app still disconnects when using remote listening (on wired or wireless headphones). The functionality will disconnect after about 5 minutes and then I need to go back into the app, wait for the connection to show again, and reconnect...every 5 minutes. Disappointing...because I used this feature most, to save my remote battery."

seriously and honestly easy lto use, easy to set up and easy to watch tv your way. having the remote app on my phone has been a life saver for those days that the physical remote just disappears. No more panic mode. I just grab my phone and get to streaming. The one and only issue I have had was the app could not find my device even though both the device and app where on the same wifi. I never found out why that happened. The next time I went to use it, everything worked just fine."
